SUMMARY:Spring Concert 2023: Mendelssohn - Elijah
DESCRIPTION:Our Spring 2023 concert will feature Mendelssohn’s dramatic oratorio\, Elijah.  \n\n\n\nThis piece was originally planned for our pandemic-affected 2021 concert\, and our singers ended up learning the work via weekly Zoom calls. It was an interesting experience\, which helped choir members keep in touch and at least singing in some way. SUMMARY:Come and Sing Duruflé/Dvořák
DESCRIPTION:The Stonehaven Chorus invites all music enthusiasts to sign up for a “Come and Sing” event. \n\n\n\nDuring the day we will focus on Duruflé’s Requiem complemented with selections from Dvořák’s Svatá Ludmilla (sung in English).  \n\n\n\nRegistration will be from 9.30am and the workshop will start at 10am. There will be tea/coffee on arrival and a light buffet lunch included in cost of day.
